Steel shot WGL

Hardened and tempered WGL shot is harder than WGP chipped shot.

It is used in shot blasting and, more rarely, shot blasting equipment for cleaning castings, removing scale, cleaning and surface preparation prior to coating. Particularly effective when processing products with increased hardness. After blasting with WGL shot, the surface it turns out more anchor, which provides increased adhesion.

The main characteristics are:

• optimal hardness, allowing for fast and high-quality processing;
• toughness for exceptionally long shot life;
• resiliency that increases efficiency with multiple bounces, allowing you to reach areas of the surface that are inaccessible to a direct impact.

The size of the granules affects the quality and speed of processing. The more particles contained in a kilogram of product, the higher the surface cleaning rate: per unit time, a greater number of shot granules come into contact with the cleaned surface, but the shot must be of sufficient size to fulfill the set technological task.
